Ice wine and Semillon in a hundred-year-old church, with a veranda and picnic pavilions among the vines.
What to Expect
South River’s tasting room is a church, about a hundred years old, that was moved here from Shalersville. Try the ice wine and the Semillon. You can walk through the vines, sit on the veranda or bring a picnic to the pavilions. The winery has been open since 2002, and it ages its wine in a cave built from highway culverts.
