What to expect
Arnie Esterer and Tim Hubbard founded Markko in 1968, with guidance from Finger Lakes viticulturist Konstantin Frank. Their work helped establish that European grape varieties could grow beside Lake Erie. Chardonnay, Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon remain central to the winery’s account of that experiment, making this a stop with a substantial history behind the glass.
